Guardiola has no doubts Thiago Alcantara would be Premier League success

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has "no doubt" that Liverpool target Thiago Alcantara would be a success in the English Premier League.

Alcantara, who played under Guardiola at both Barcelona and Bayern Munich, has one year left on his contract with the German powerhouse and is expected to join Jurgen Klopp at Anfield after failing to agree an extension to his current deal.

The 29-year-old midfielder has reportedly put his Munich home on the market even before the clubs have agreed a transfer fee.
