Barcelona had been on a flier of a start in their new La Liga season. Barcelona had 7 wins in 7 games until their defeat to Osasuna last night. The Barcelona machine crumbled before Osasuna as the Catalans lost 4-2 in their away match. This was a shocking loss to Barcelona as they were considered the favorites going into the game. They also missed out on creating the record for the best season start as Osasuna dominated them right from the start of the match. Barcelona's manager Hansi Flick shouldered all of the blame for the loss saying that they did not play well enough.

Hansi Flick Takes Blame For Loss

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has taken charge of this club from the current season onwards and his resume has been looking pretty impressive following the start that Barcelona got in the league. Barcelona even after the loss to Osasuna sits at the top of the table in La Liga and is clear of Real Madrid by 4 points.

After the loss against Osasuna, Hansi Flick took all of the blame for the loss.

"You have to accept these defeats. We didn't play very well. I think it's my responsibility.

"(With the rotations) I tried to protect the players, because they have been playing a lot of minutes. But I didn't expect us to play like this.

"We made a lot of mistakes and Osasuna did well. Although in the second goal I think there was a foul at the start of the action, I'm not entirely sure because I haven't been able to see it yet, but that's what I've heard.

"To score four goals against us is too much, but I've told the team that we have to keep going. It's a busy schedule and we are on the right track," said Flick while talking to Movistar Plus after the match.
