Wonderkid Xavi Simons Limps Off The Pitch During Leipzig's Champions League Game Against Liverpool
Dutch wonderkid Xavi Simons had to be taken off the pitch after he suffered an injury in Leipzig's UCL match against Liverpool.

Dutch wonderkid Xavi Simons set fire to the footballing world a few years ago when he was discovered in Barcelona's La Masia academy. Ever since then he took a move to Paris club Paris Saint Germain where he was not too much of a success. Xavi Simons then moved to German side RB Leipzig, where he is currently playing. Recently in RB Leipzig's UEFA Champions League match against Liverpool, the Dutch star had to be helped off the pitch after he got injured during the game.
Xavi Simons Injured
Leipzig midfielder Xavi Simons was helped off with a left leg injury in the team’s Champions League match against Liverpool on Wednesday.
The Netherlands international looked in distress as he limped off the field in the 77th with a member of Leipzig’s support staff either side of him.

Simons was already limping from a previous tackle by Liverpool’s Alexis Mac Allister — which came while Simons attempted a shot on goal — when he went up for an aerial challenge and landed gingerly.
Simons stayed down, received treatment and then came off.

The midfielder was one of the Netherlands’ better players at the European Championship in Germany and has helped Leipzig make a strong start to the Bundesliga, with the team lying in second place after seven games.
Fans Loving Xavi At Leipzig
Several fans have took to social media platforms to show their admiration for Xavi Simons as several tweets and posts have poured in that the 21 year old is back to playing like his old self and is delivering performance after performance again.
