Liverpool place some non-playing staff on furlough amid virus outbreak

Livepool FC decided to place non-playing staff on temporary leave amid coronavirus crisis.

The members of staff affected by this decision will be allowed to take 80% of their salary through the UK government's job retention scheme, with the club willing to complete the remaining of the salary.

The Premier League leaders follow the steps of other teams like Newcastle, Tottenham, Bournemouth and Norwich, who have already taken the same decision.
