Pep Guardiola insists that his current Manchester City side would be in the title race in any other league in Europe.

Manchester City are currently in second place in the English Premier League on 51 points after 24 games, 16 points behind Liverpool who are on 67 points after 23 matches.

He said on Friday: "We'd be champions in Spain, we will be champions in Italy, we will be champions in Germany, we will be champions in everywhere. So, 23 games, 22 victories, one draw. So it's impossible to handle it even in the best moments we can drop points."

Guardiola also revealed that he doesn't personally seek out new players coming into Manchester City, and leaves the role to his scouting department, due to not having the time to look for the specific players he needs.

Manchester City play Fulham in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday 26th January.
