Though injuries have seriously limited Neymar's football career, he is without a doubt among the best player of his time. After suffering a knee injury in national service last year, he missed the Copa America and left out of competitive football. As Neymar works to overcome his physical setbacks and start his football activities, the football world eagerly awaits his comeback to the pitch.

Regarding Neymar for the FIFA World Cup 2026 Romario delivered a strong warning to Brazil

Former Brazil national team star Romario recently blasted the current squad, saying they can't win the 2026 FIFA World Cup without Neymar's help.

Having five World Cup medals, Brazil is the most successful country in World Cup history; nonetheless, its latest triumph was in 2002. Brazil has not been able to claim another championship with Neymar's participation in the team for the last three competitions. Neymar joined the national squad, and since then he has been seen as the player ready to guide Brazil to its much-awaited sixth World Cup victory.

Neymar has scored 79 goals, making him the most prolific scorer in the history of Brazil. However, he has not yet been able to guide his country to significant international success. His professional trajectory has been tarnished by a succession of physical ailments and contentious behaviour during matches, which has hindered his ability to attain widespread acknowledgement as a revered figure in the national team.

Nevertheless, Romario, a compatriot from Brazil and a champion of the 1994 World Cup, maintains that Neymar continues to be the pivotal player for the Brazilian team. Romario emphasises the necessity for the squad to unite and support Neymar in order to achieve victory in 2026.

Addressing the media, the individual, who is 58 years old, stated:

"If they don't play for Neymar, Brazil won't be World Cup champions. It's as simple as that. As long as they don't understand that he's the difference maker, they'll continue to f ******."

Neymar has only scored eight goals in three World Cups, despite his outstanding performance; just three of these goals come from the vital knockout rounds. Neymar must maintain ideal physical health and play at his best if he is to lead Brazil to World Cup success once more. As his ACL rehabilitation is under progress, he is probably going to return to competitive football in one month or two. He will be on show for Al-Hilal, Saudi Pro League behemoths.
