Spanish La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid trained on Saturday, a day before their match at home to bottom club Eibar.

Diego Simeone's side have seen their title challenge stutter in recent weeks - they have won only four of their last 11 La Liga fixtures and they have not won in April following two difficult trips to Seville where they lost to Sevilla and drew with Real Betis.

As a result, Atletico's lead at the top of the table stands at just one point over city rivals Real Madrid with eight league matches of the season remaining.

Atletico will be without forward Luis Suarez due to a calf problem, while Joao Felix is a doubt due to an ankle issue.

Simeone will hope Kieran Trippier can overcome a back injury to start against Eibar, while Mario Hermoso could feature and Marcos Llorente is available again after suspension.
