Real Madrid and Tottenham in race to sign Gimenez

Major teams in Europe are taking notice of Gimenez's performances. Morris Pagniello, a FIFA mediator, stated this week in an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb that Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur are now the front-runners to recruit him for the summer. It should be noted that Pagniello does not officially represent Gimenez; instead, his father does.

According to reports, Gimenez has been observed by Real Madrid, but as of right now, they do not view him as a top target. After bringing Endrick in the ranks, Los Blancos will seemingly focus on signing Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.

With Carlo Ancelotti's team becoming thin at full back, it appears more likely at this point that Real Madrid will pursue Alphonso Davies of Bayern Munich in the next transfer window.
