'Will score less': Mourinho explains the impact of Mbappe's arrival on Bellingham at Real Madrid
Mourinho expects Bellingham to score less at Real Madrid due to Mbappe's arrival. He clarified the impact of this roster change.

Jose Mourinho made a huge statement on the effect of Kylian Mbappe on Jude Bellingham
Jude Bellingham's goal total may drop next season, according to Jose Mourinho, since Kylian Mbappe is joining Real Madrid. He expects that Bellingham's location farther from the goal will affect his chances of scoring. Following Real Madrid's 2-0 Champions League final victory over Borussia Dortmund, Mourinho said in a TNT Sports interview that Carlo Ancelotti is probably going to favour an offensive three of Mbappe, Vinicius Jr., and Rodrygo. As such, Bellingham would be moved to play in the midfield with Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, and Aurelien Tchouamen. (via Metro) He added:
“Bellingham will score less goals next season. Because the system is going to change, the position of Bellingham is going to change. They will play Rodrygo, Mbappe and Vinicius Jr, they will play three. For me, he [Carlo Ancelotti] will play with two midfield players and Bellingham behind the three attacking players. So in midfield he will play probably [Federico] Valverde, [Eduardo] Camavinga and [Aurelien] Tchouameni, and Luka [Modric] coming when the game needs eyes. But with these guys, Rodrygo, Mbappe and Vinicius, to play against them… it's hard.”
With Real Madrid, Jude Bellingham had an amazing rookie season that ended with him winning the UEFA Champions League on Saturday. Throughout 42 games for Los Blancos, he scored 23 goals and provided 13 assists.
Bellingham was questioned about Kylian Mbappe maybe joining Real Madrid following their Champions League victory at Borussia Dortmund. Excited, the midfielder said it would be amazing to work with the French superstar. Then he added:
“It would be amazing [for] a player like him [to join us]. You see tonight... the only little thing we were missing was that clinical nine. And if he is to come and give us that, we would be in a really great place and he would take us to another level.”
