Logan Sargeant's Williams blows up in crash
Logan Sargeant's career as a Formula 1 driver is coming to an end as he will be replaced at Williams from next year by Ferrari's Carlos Sainz.
As Sargeant began his final half as a Williams F1 driver it started in the most disastrous way possible as the American lost control of his Williams over the wet grass and crashed into the barriers at high speed. The impact was so massive that Logan Sargeant's car completely dismantled the barriers and caught fire as it blew up.
Fortunately, Logan Sargeant was able to get out in time before the car caught fire and is okay. Logan Sargeant will now go on to miss the Qualifying at Dutch GP as there is no chance his car will be repaired in the right time. Sargeant will start the race last on the grid tomorrow as his disappointing run of form in Formula 1 continues.
Logan Sargeant's nasty accident caused a red flag into the practice session and as the flames came out of his car, the entire grid was shook and Mercedes driver George Russel was even seen raising caution over the team radio that there is fire and Logan needs to get out.
Logan Sargeant was examined post the crash and in great news was found to be okay and is extremely fortunate to walk away from the shunt without any injuries.
