However, both sides faced yet another heartbreak and were not able to qualify for the finals of the tournament. Though, both the teams will not walk back with empty hands as on one end, the Kiwi team will receive INR 33,31,176 each for their five wins during the round-robin stage whereas, they will get another INR 6,66,23,520 for losing in the tournament semis. In total. the Kane Williamson-led side will get INR 8,32,76,200. 

Talking about the Proteas, the Temba Bavuma-led side were able to win seven games out of nine whereas lost to Australia in the semi-finals. South Africa will receive INR 33,31,176 for seven wins in the round-robin stage whereas they will get INR 6,66,23,520 for being the losing team in the tournament semis. In total, they will get a total of 14,98,97,160 at the end of the competition.
