IND vs SA: ICC Introduces New Provisions Before T20 World Cup 2024 Finals, Massive Change Announced

IND vs SA T20 World Cup 2024 Final: Rohit Sharma-led Team India are all set to take on Aiden Markram's South Africa in the finals of ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. The match will be played at Kensington Oval, Barbados as the threat of rain playing spoilsport looms large. Though there is a reserve day (June 30, 204) for the summit clash, but the ICC is trying its best to wind the World Cup up as per schedule.
New provisions for cut-off time announced
The ICC in its new provisions included an additional time of 190 minutes for the IND vs SA T20 World Cup Final. The game is set to take place at 10:30 AM local time (8:00 PM IST), with a cut-off time of 1:40 PM (11:10 IST) in place.
Both the Indian team and South African team should complete at least 10 overs for the DLS method to come into effect.
The ICC has also confirmed a reserve day for the final match.
India vs South Africa: What if it rains in Barbados?
In the event that a minimum of 10 overs cannot be played due to inclement weather, the game will be rescheduled for Sunday and if rain disrupt play during the match, teams will resume proceedings on the reserve day at 10:30 AM local time (8:00 PM IST).
