What happened in the headliner fights?
With Jon Jones out, there is a need for a fighter to carry the Heavyweight division and Tom Aspinall has filled the shoes. At UFC 295, he inflicted a first-round knockout on Sergei Pavlovich and became the new Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion.
As for the main event, Alex Pereira got the anticipated win over Jiri Prochazka. Much like the Heavyweight competitor, Pereira also got the KO win. He downed Prochazka in the 2nd round of the fight.
