Noel takes race victory; Schwarz claims World Cup slalom title

There were blizzard conditions in the Slovenian resort of Kranjska Gora on Sunday for the penultimate World Cup slalom event of the season.

A French one-two at the top saw Clement Noel secure an eighth World Cup race victory - and his second of the season, while his compatriot Victor Muffat-Jeandet landed the first World Cup podium of his career.

Austria's Marco Schwarz secured the World Cup Slalom crystal globe despite finishing in seventh spot.

His nearest rival for the overall title, Swiss racer Ramon Zenhaeusern, took third in Kranjska Gora.
