Sebastien Ogier won the Safari Rally Kenya on Sunday, his fourth WRC victory of the season.

Ogier benefitted from overnight leader Thierry Neuville's retirement following suspension failure and the 7-time world champion then reeled in Toyota teammate Takamoto Katsuta to win by 21.8 seconds.

Katsuta had to settle for second in the end, but it was still a first podium finish for the Japanese driver.

Estonia's Ott Tanak was third for Hyundai, more than a minute in arrears.

With his 53rd career win, Ogier increases his lead in this season's points standings - he now sits on 133, 34 ahead of Britain's Elfyn Evans and 56 clear of third-placed Neuville.

Tanak remains fourth on 69, but is now only three points ahead of Katsuta.
