India at Paris Paralympics Day 3 Highlights: Rubina Clinches Bronze, Archers Exit Heartbreakingly

It is a 40.42 for Parveen Kumar as he has finished 8th in the men's Javelin final at Paralympics. 

Parveen Kumar has thrown just 40.35m in his fifth attempt, and as it all comes down to sixth and final attempt. 

Parveen Kumar has made a gradual improvement with 41.23m and 42.12m in third and fourth attempt. However, this is not good enough to take him past 8th. -

Parveen Kumar has improved slightly in his second attempt with an attempt of 41.91m. He stays at 8th. 

Parveen Kumar's first attempt is 40.21m which takes him upto the 8th spot. 

Parveen Kumar is all set to throw his first attempt in men's javelin final. 

The men's Javelin final is underway.

India's Para archer Sarita Kumari has lost in the quarterfinal against Turkey's Oznur Cure 140-145 in the Women's Individual Compound Open

India's arm less archer Sheetal Devi has heartbreakingly lost her Individual Compound Open round of 16 tie against Chile's Mariana Zuniga 137-138 after a nailbiting finish. 

India's 6th medal at the Paris Paralympics is also confirmed as Indian shuttlers Suhas Yathiraj and Sukant Kadam set to face each other in the semi-finals of Badminton Men's singles SL4. This means India will win atleast a silver medal from the event as winner will progress into the gold medal match. 

India's armless archer Sheetal Devi is set to be in action soon at the Paralympics as she will face Chile's Mariana Zuniga in Round of 16. 

India's para archer Sarita defeated Italy's Eleanora Sarti in Women's Individual Compound Open round of 16 match to advance into the quarter-finals. 

Shooter Rubina Francis has won the bronze medal for India in the Women's 10m Air Pistol SH1 category. 

Tarun lost to France's Lucas Mazur in two straight sets to bow out of the semifinal race in the men's singles SL4 category.  

Indian para shuttlers Sukant Kadam and Suhas Yathiraj have both reached the semifinal and another medal for India is confirmed.

“If I can do it , anyone can do it. Just need to work hard.” Some powerful words from Sheetal Devi, who will be in action later in the day.

Nitesh Kumar beats Bunsun of Thailand 21-13 21-14 in straight sets of Men's Singles SL3. With this win, he tops the Group and Qualified for Semi Final Match

In the Men's Singles SL3 Group A match against China Yang Jianyuan, Manoj Sarkar wins 21-15, 21-11.

In the PR3 Mixed Double Sculls, Anita and Narayana Konganapalle will compete in Repechage 2. They are matched with Ukraine, Mexico, and Great Britain.

In the Men's 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 category qualification rounds, Swaroop Mahavir Unhalkar places 14th and is not eligible to advance to the finals.

In their Men's Singles SL3 Group A match against Mongkhon Bunsun, Nitesh easily wins 21-13, 21-14. In any case, the match was meaningless because Nitesh had already advanced to the semifinals.

Arshad Shaikh is at 11th in the standings and will not qualify for the finals. 

After Jyoti Gaderiya, Arshad Shaikh will compete in the Men's C1-3 1000m Time Trial (Track) qualification round.

Jyoti Gaderiya finishes last in qualification, failing to advance to the finals.

Jyoti Gaderiya is competing in the Women's C1-500m Time Trial (Track) event, competing in the qualifying round. With a time of 49.233 seconds, she is currently in the third spot.

In the Men's Singles SL3 category, Group A will match Thailand's Mongkhon Bunsun against Nitesh Kumar, who has already advanced to the semifinals.

Mandeep Kaur defeats Australia's Celine Aurelie Vinot in their Women's Singles SL3 Group B match, pulling off a stunning comeback victory to win 21-23, 21-10, 21-17 and secure a spot in the quarterfinals.

Mandeep survives after falling short in a fiercely contested first game by defeating Vinot 21–10 in the second game.

Despite a promising start, Mandeep Kaur loses the first game to her Australian opponent Vinot, 23-21.

Mandeep Kaur of India will face Celine Aurelie Vinot of Australia in a Group B Women's Singles SL3 match.

Para archers Sheetal Devi and Sarita will also compete on the third day. Both archers will be looking to win medals for India

India had a spectacular outing in Day 2 of the Paralympics. After Avani Lekhara and Mona opened the medal tally for India, Manish narwal clinched a silver in the 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1. Athletics' dominance was also in display as Preethi pal secured a bronze medal in the women's 100m T35 final.
