By earning the bronze medal in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions category at a major international tournament, Swapnil Kusale made India proud. As he displayed amazing precision and calmness across the tournament, his extraordinary abilities and relentless desire emerged to bring India to the podium of the Paris Olympics 2024. Kusale's outstanding achievement not only honoured his nation but also confirmed his reputation as a gifted marksman in the field of shooting sports.

Swapnil Kusale grabbed the bronze medal for India in the Men's 50m Rifle Three Positions event with a mesmerising exhibition of accuracy and ability. Kusale displayed extraordinary shooting among intense competition, ranking third on the podium with a 451.4 point score. With 463.6 points, Y.K. Liu of China claimed gold; S. Kulish of Ukraine picked silver with 461.3 points. Kusale's exceptional achievement not only made India proud but also demonstrated his competence in the field of shooting sports, therefore confirming his ranking as a major competitor worldwide. This is important to note that this was India's 3rd medal in shooting at the Paris Olympics 2024.

Kusale shot an aggregate of 451.4 in the eight-shooter final to finish third after being placed sixth at one stage.

The 28-year-old's medal comes following the stunning performance of Manu Bhaker, who clinched the women's 10m air pistol and mixed team 10m air pistol bronze alongside Sarabjot Singh.
