The Olympic Opening Ceremony looked like a breathtaking spectacle in Paris as all the stars gathered in the French Capital to make it a night to remember. With over thousands of athletes being a part of the ceremony, the moment was something the fans have been waiting for. Paris chose to break the conventional route and the ceremony was not held in a stadium for the first time. But during the ceremony, an enormous blunder took place during the grand affair after the Olympics flag was unfurled upside down.

At the Paris Olympics opening ceremony, the galloping warrior presented the Olympic flag to be unfurled in a rain-hit Olympic Ceremony. But a big mistake took place after the flag was unfurled upside down. The fans noticed it and an uproar sparked on social media.

In a captivating opening ceremony for the 33rd Olympic Games held on Friday, France displayed its cultural diversity, spirit of revolution, impeccable craftsmanship, and architectural heritage. Paris transformed into a massive amphitheatre, and the famous Seine served as a track for the athletes' parade.
A dreamlike departure from tradition marked the beginning of the extravaganza as the 'Parade of Nations' threatened to be a spoilsport when athletes from 205 countries and one refugee team cruised down the Seine on boats in the lead-up to and during the ceremony.
The event also gave "Hindi" a heartfelt homage, since it was one of the six languages featured in infographics honoring the contributions of well-known female French athletes.
The athletes' parade across the Seine was unquestionably the prime point of the bold and unorthodox opening ceremony. Over 85 boats carried 6800 athletes in the six-kilometre parade, starting at the Austerlitz bridge, to thunderous applause from the assembled spectators. Many athletes also missed the amazing display because they had events on Saturday.
