Paris Olympics 2024: The Indian contingency is currently stationed in the 'City of Lights' to write and rewrite new chapters in the history of the Summer Games. A strong contingent comprising of 117 athletes, India look to better their performance of the Tokyo Olympics. Indian shooter Manu Bhaker already made the country proud by winning a bronze medal in the ongoing Paris Olympics and now, other Indian athletes will look to clinch glory in the 33rd Summer Games.

Rahul Dravid Has A Special Message For Indian Hockey Team

Former Head Coach of the Indian Cricket team, 'The Wall', Rahul Dravid is in Paris and he took some time off to visit the Indian Hockey team. The former India player was in Paris to attend 'Cricket at the Olympics: Dawn of a New Era' event. Los Angeles has been chosen as the destination for the 34th Summer Games and has been bestowed with the hosting rights. These are exciting times for the United States as far as sporting events are concerned.

The US jointly hosted the T20 World Cup with West Indies, the 2026 edition of the FIFA World Cup will also be played in the states with the LA Olympics to follow in 2028. Interestingly, the Los Angeles Olympics will also feature Cricket which is a pathbreaking for the sport in many ways. Dravid, after attending 'Cricket at the Olympics: Dawn of a New Era' event shared a special message for the Indian Hockey Team.

India Play Out  A Draw Against Argentina

India skipper Harmanpreet Singh once again came to his side's rescue, scoring a late equaliser to salvage a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Argentina in their second men's hockey pool match at the Paris Olympics here on Monday. Lucas Martinez gave Argentina the lead in the 22nd minute before Harmanpreet converted India's 10th and last penalty corner to pick up a crucial point from the game.
