The much anticipated Paris Olympics are just three days away from going underway with the Opening Ceremony scheduled on the 26th of July. 

Heading into the Paris Olympics there is a lot of anticipation from the Indian contingent to better their highest ever medal tally at the Summer Games from Tokyo Olympics. Ahead of the Paris Olympics, the hues Indian Contingent will wear at the Summer Games has been revealed. Let's take a look at the official kit. 

India's jersey for Paris Olympics 

Ahead of the Paris Olympics, India's jersey partner JSW has unveiled the hues Indian Athletes will wear in Paris during the Summer Games. 

This year at the Olympics, India will be wearing a jersey with its traditional blue colour paired with hues of white and Gold Font, which give the jersey a prestigious and glorious look.

Team India's jersey was unveiled in an event by India's Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. 

“The design of the Team India’s playing kit showcases the confidence, versatility and ferocity of the terrains of our mighty nation. With each contour and flow echoing the resilience of our landscapes, that is fierce, embodying the indomitable spirit of our athletes. It’s more than just fabric, it’s a symbol of pride, woven with the spirit of India’s champion,” said Mansukh Mandaviya.

Athlete parade to take place on boats 

This year at the Opening Ceremony of Paris Olympics, the traditional athlete parade is going to take place on the seine as ever contingent will be represented on boats. This innovative setup will feature cameras on the boats, providing television and online viewers with an intimate view of the athletes. The parade will traverse a 6-kilometer route, winding from east to west through central Paris, showcasing the city's stunning landmarks and setting the stage for the athletes' performances over the next 16 days.
