Portugal handball goalkeeper Alfredo Quintana has died four days after a heart attack during practice, the Portuguese handball federation said on Friday

Portugal handball goalkeeper Alfredo Quintana has died four days after a heart attack during practice, the Portuguese handball federation said on Friday.

The federation said Quintana was stricken by cardiorespiratory arrest while training with his club, FC Porto, on Monday.

The 32-year-old Quintana made 67 appearances for Portugal.
