Record-breaker MC Mary Kom signs 10 year-deal extending management contract with IOS Sports

 AIBA Legend and Golden Girl of Indian Boxing MC Mary Kom extends her 10- year commercial relationship with IOS Sports & Entertainment, India’s leading sports management group that is managing MC Mary Kom exclusively since 2009. MC Mary Kom who recently created history by winning her sixth World title becoming the most successful amateur boxer the world has ever seen.

During this decade-long relationship IOS has been responsible in tying up with more than 25 brands like Herbalife, Emami, Dalmia Cement, Bridgestone Tyres, Tata Salt, P&G, GSK, NECC, Lakshmi Tea, Monnet, Piramal, Artemis Hospital, Manpasand Beverages, Vodafone, ITC, Tourism Thailand Authority, Star India etc.  

IOS also facilitated licensing deal with Priyanka Chopra starrer produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and  Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and was also the marketing agency for the super hit film Mary Kom featuring her life story. IOS also licensed Harper Collins for publishing one of top sports selling book “An Autobiography Unbreakable MC Mary Kom” on the struggle story of MC Mary Kom.

Commenting on extending her commercial relationship with IOS, MC Mary Kom said “In the last 10 years I have only focussed on my game and entire commercial work was perfectly managed by my team IOS. Looking at smooth working with them, I have decided to extend this relationship with them. I would like to continue working hard on my game and want IOS to manage commercial aspect exclusively”.
