During an exclusive interview with Republic World, Manu Bhaker opens up on learning and handling rumours and gossip about her name. The shooter agreed that people love gossip and such things happen. While she usually does not mind the harmless ones, she doesn't like it when his family members are being involved or targeted in it.

"Everyone enjoys gossip. I guess. So I don't really mind it. Yeah, it's the family part. I don't like, like targeting my family. I don't like that. But otherwise, it doesn't harm," said Manu Bhaker.

Manu Bhaker is coming off a successful campaign in the 2024 Olympics, which earned her two bronze medals in the same event. Alongside veteran Hockey India goalkeeper PR Sreejesh, she received the ultimate honour of being the flag bearer for India at the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics. But what will be next for the Olympian? Bhaker revealed that she isn't looking into anything right away. But she intends to return to the sport after taking some time and engaging in some basic training.

"I'm not really looking to any competition. Because I'll be on track for now, and then I will start back again with my basic training and, after some time of training, and then I'll start," Bhaker added.
