Seventh seed Petra Kvitova took advantage of indoor conditions to reach the second round of the French Open.
The match between Kvitova and France's Oceane Dodin under the new roof on Court Philippe Chatrier was the only one able to get under way on a damp Monday morning at Roland Garros.
And Kvitova produced a powerful and clean display to win 6-3 7-5.
