Tiger Woods knows he needs a big week or his playoffs hopes are over

Tiger Woods will need a big week at the BMW Championship or face a premature end to his run through the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

The 2019 Masters champion will need a top four finish at Olympia Fields to progress to the Tour Championship at East Lake.

"I have to play well, I have to earn my way to East Lake," Woods said during his pre-tournament news conference. The 44-year-old adding "If I don't then I go home."

Woods has had a difficult 2020 having failed to finish inside the top 10 since a tied for ninth place at January's Farmers Insurance Open.
