A former WWE Universal Champion has released an update on his recuperation from a potentially career-ending injury. The Monster Among Men- Braun Strowman- had been disabled by a catastrophic neck injury that required level-one neck fusion surgery on his C4 and C5 vertebrae. Strowman last appeared on RAW on May 1, 2023, when he teamed up with Ricochet to defeat Otis and Chad Gable.

Braun Strowman begins to make his presence felt

Though he's been resting during his injury sabbatical, Braun Strowman did make a cameo appearance on the August 25 episode of SmackDown to pay sincere tribute to his late friend, Bray Wyatt. The 40-year-old Superstar just disclosed that he has been cleared to begin weight training and has returned to the gym.

He posted a snapshot of himself showing his muscles on his official Instagram account earlier today. Strowman appears to be in the best physical condition of his life. He wrote in the caption:

"Four weeks back training after almost 5 months off. Size is coming back. A little more to grow before I start the cut. How much do you think I weigh right now??

Braun Strowman's journey in WWE

After making his debut on the main roster as a member of The Wyatt Family in 2015 during an episode of Raw, Braun Strowman received a major push, which reached the pinnacle at WrestleMania 36, when he defeated Goldberg to become the new WWE Universal Champion. In the WWE, Strowman has had classic feuds with Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt, and Kevin Owens, etc. Moreover, with him expected to return soon the rivalry list could become thicker.
