'It was like seeing a ghost': Seth Rollins offers a brutally honest reaction to CM Punk's WWE return

WWE did the unthinkable after they brought back CM Punk to the wrestling promotion. The Straight Edge superstar made his return during the Survivor Series: War Games. While his return left the fans amazed, not everyone was overly impressed to see him backstage. One of them was Seth Rollins, who was fuming after CM Punk came out in front of the audience in Illinois.

Seth Rollins' initial reaction after seeing CM Punk revealed

Seth Rollins' hatred for CM Punk knows no bounds, as the World Heavyweight Champion has been critically vocal over the Second City Saint. Rollins also confronted Punk during RAW, and there seems to be no respect between both parties. Rollins was asked about his initial reaction to seeing Punk coming out on the stage after their War Games match. While joining Monday Night RAW via satellite, The Architect said:

'It was such a mixture of emotions, rage and disappointment. But also like you kinda knew it was coming, and then when you hear it, it was almost like a disbelief, like you've seen a ghost. But a ghost that you really want to punch in the mouth, I guess is the best way to put it.'

With CM Punk returning to WWE and joining Monday Nights, he could be pitted in several dream feuds, one being against the Champion Rollins. Given the fact that his reaction at War Games was genuine, it could turn out to be one of the greatest rivalries in recent history. Rollins was pitted with Riddle, someone he had personal issues with. But the on-screen product was fascinating and showcased the genuine hatred they had for each other.

CM Punk is in for some big things after he declared himself for the Royal Rumble. What else could be in store? It is subject to witness.
