WWE statement: Talent meeting held to stop speculation

According to reports, the WWE talent was assembled in a meeting that happened before Monday Night RAW. The agenda of the meeting was to address the issues that took place in Saudi Arabia during last Thursday's Crown Jewel PPV. WWE clarified to its wrestlers that Saudi Arabia and WWE have a cordial relationship and their flight delays were not related to any pending transactions between the company and the country. They also clarified that the feed for Saudi Arabia did have some issues but none of it was intentional. WWE maintained that the reason why the wrestlers remained stuck in Saudi was because of a 'mechanical failure'. Vince McMahon's early departure from the country was also acknowledged.

It was also widely speculated that WWE Crown Jewel feed for Saudi was cut by Vince McMahon over non-payment to the tune of $300 million to $500 million. Rumours also suggested that the reason some WWE talent remained stuck in Saudi Arabia for more than 24 hours since WWE Crown Jewel was because the Saudi Prince retaliated to McMahon's earlier actions and detained the talent which was supposed to leave the country.
