The Friday Night SmackDown from the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin, was colossal as Roman Reigns returned to the Blue Brand. Randy Orton, DAMAGE CTRL, LA Knight, and more were on in the show, and a huge yet surprising return of a former WWE Champion. The athletes of the Green Bay Packers were also in attendance for SmackDown.

WWE SmackDown Results: Roman Reigns returns, Randy Orton confronts him

The Friday Night SmackDown opened with Roman Reigns showing up to make a major declaration. The Undisputed Universal champion adjudged Solo Sikoa as the Tribal Prince, as Jimmy Uso just looked on. Tension was seemingly visible in Uso's face as Randy Orton made his way out to confront the Tribal Chief. While Reigns showed no interest in facing Orton, it looks like the Apex Predator will provoke the Head of the Table down the road.

Carmelo Hayes vs Grayson Waller - United States Championship Tournament

NXT sensation Carmelo Hayes made a solid mark as he made his presence on SmackDown and pulled off a stunning win to get into the second round of the United States Championship tournament. Waller looked dominant, and Hayes had some frustration after his knee developed some problems. But Melo showed why he is a once-in-a-generation talent after pulling off a win over Waller.  

Kevin Owens vs Austin Theory - United States Championship Tournament

A broken hand did not stop Kevin Owens from making a mark and advancing further in the round. Austin Theory tried to capitalize on Owens' weak part. But Kevin was able to knock out Theory with his cast, allowing him to make the pin and gain the victory.

The Kabuki Warriors vs Zelina Vega & Michin

While Michin and Zelina Vega attacked Asuka and Kairi Sane as they made their entrance down the ramp, it was DAMAGE CTRL's Bayley who eventually made the save as they helped Sane and Asuka take down their opponents.  

Randy Orton vs Jimmy Uso

The main event featured The Apex Predator, who is all against the Bloodline for taking him out of action over a year ago. He went against Jimmy Uso, who wanted to prove his worth to the Tribal Chief. But he failed to do so, as Orton nailed him with an RKO to sweep the win. While Uso had backup with Solo Sikoa arriving at ringside, LA Knight came out to neutralize things. 

As the Bloodline put up a beat down over Knight and Orton, AJ Styles returned outta nowhere, and the Bloodline retreated from the scenario. Reigns has found another opponent who can challenge him for the title.

The show ended after Styles attacked LA Knight and walked off the ring, leading to the show going off the air.
