Apple Intelligence launched as iOS 18.1 update starts rolling out

Apple has released its highly anticipated Apple Intelligence capabilities as part of the iOS 18.1 update, now available for the latest iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro devices. Last year’s iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max also support the entire suite of Apple Intelligence features. However, the standard iPhone 15 and older models get iOS 18.1 features only, excluded from the neck and neck competition between companies over consumer-facing artificial intelligence.

How to download and install iOS 18.1

iPhone users can head to their device settings and tap General, followed by a tap on Software update to check if there is iOS update available for their device. If available, tap the Download and install button. Users must keep in mind that their iPhone is connected to high-speed internet and has enough battery and storage available. After the iPhone restarts, the iOS 18.1 will be installed.
