Met through PUBG, got happily engaged: Here's the Story of the Egyptian couple this Valentine's day

Of late, the online battle royale game PUBG is attracting a lot of negative attention amid voices calling for a ban on the game are getting louder by the day. So on the occasion of Valentine's day, we show you a little different story of this Egyptian couple who met through PUBG and are now engaged. 

Out of all the avenues available online to meet that perfect someone, PUBG will probably not make it to the list. But Last week, this Egyptian man found the love of his life while playing PUBG and they are now happily engaged. He shared pictures of his engagement on his Twitter profile with this caption:

"Started from PUBG, now we're here."

From the tweet, it is clear that the couple met through PUBG while playing the game together, fell in love with each other and eventually got engaged. So clearly, PUBG's role is not limited to creating differences between the couple but also bringing them closer. This also gives PUBG players a sense of comfort that PUBG is not bad if they limit their gameplay to a point where they don't have to split and also spend quality time with their loved ones.

And as many would agree, mutual interests always play a very important in strengthening any relationship.

Last year, Pune couple chose a PUBG theme to get their wedding photographer to shoot their pre-wedding photos. It goes to show how popular PUBG is among the youngsters who spend a significant amount of time with their mobile phone to play games and use social media apps.

Folks over at PUBG also wants you to celebrate this Valentine's day with your partner by fighting beside each other with matching sets of costumes.
