PUBG Lite beta that takes the original PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) to desktop computers, is now confirmed to expand to more regions outside of Thailand. It seems that feedback from beta testers turned out to be positive in Thailand, seemingly resulting in the game’s current official expansion.

The newer regions confirmed for unlocking of PUBG Lite Beta on computers are Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, and Indonesia. If you are a PUBG loyalist residing in these regions, do check for PUBG Lite beta from right now within your computers.

As far as computers are concerned, the system requirements for PUBG Lite beta to unlock are pretty simple; these are:

  • Windows operating systems supported - Windows 10, Windows 8, 64-bit Windows 7
  • Graphics card - Intel HD Graphics 4000 card
  • Minimum RAM - 4GB
  • Processor - Intel Core i3 processor clocked at 2.4GHz; at the minimum
  • Internal storage - 4GB at the minimum.

In case the PUBG Lite beta has unlocked in the above regions, and if you are able to access it, then the maps that would be playable are Erangel which transports you to an unknown island within the realms of the Black Sea. The in-game modes which you could play are Solo, Duo, and Squad in tandem in the third-person-perspective (TPP).

PUBG, last week, during the lunch of the PUBG Lite beta for Thailand, had stated that expansion of the game would take place based on the feedback from players (beta testers). Now, it seems that the feedback has turned out to be positive indeed. This is also indicative of the fact that players in other regions of the world could potentially get to check out the PUBG Lite real quickly.

As far as the mobile version of PUBG - PUBG Mobile, is concerned, if you think you are a pro then it is worth checking out if bots can be killed with snowballs.
