Huawei Nova 4E launched with triple rear cameras, 32MP selfie shooter

Huawei has launched a new mid-tier phone, called the Huawei Nova 4E, in China. The Huawei Nova 4E has been launched at a starting price of CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs 20,000) for the base variant with 4GB RAM, going all the way to CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs 24,000) for the top-end variant with 6GB RAM. The Huawei Nova 4E will be available for buying in China from March 21. 

The Huawei Nova 4E comes with Huawei’s signature gradient colour design with a dewdrop notch on the front – it will be available in three colours including Gradient Blue, Midnight Black, and Pearl White. 

The phone comes with a 6.15-inch 1080p+ display and is powered by Huawei’s in-house Kirin 710 processor. It comes with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage which is also expandable. The phone is further backed by a 3,340mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging through USB Type-C. 

On the software front, the Huawei Nova 4E runs Android Pie-based EMUI 9. 

Cameras seem to be the main highlight of the Huawei Nova 4E – it comes with three rear cameras consisting of one 24MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP sensor for depth sensing aka portrait photography. On the front, the Huawei Nova 4E comes with an 32MP camera.             

In other news, Huawei launched the Y7 2019 in Europe recently. The Huawei Y7 2019 has been launched in Europe at a price of Euros 220 which roughly translates to Rs 17,299. 

The phone comes with a 6.26-inch 720p+ display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage which is also expandable. The phone is further backed by a sizeable 4,000mAh battery and it charges via standard micro-USB. On the software front, the Huawei Y7 2019 runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2. 

On the camera front, the Huawei Y7 2019 has a dual camera setup on the rear consisting of one 13MP senor and another 2MP sensor for depth-sensing. On the front, the Huawei Y7 2019 comes with an 8MP camera.
