The OnePlus 7T Pro is now available for buying in India, provided you’re an Amazon Prime member or choose to buy the phone from OnePlus exclusive stores from across 8 cities in India. That’s early access. The OnePlus 7T Pro will be available for buying for all broadly from 12PM on October 12. OnePlus has launched the OnePlus 7T Pro in India at a price of Rs 53,999 for the variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Speaking of specs, the OnePlus 7T Pro comes with a 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 855+ processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage – there's only one configuration, and expandable storage isn’t supported. The OnePlus 7T Pro is being claimed to be the first smartphone in the world to ship with Android 10 (based OxygenOS 10) software out-of-the-box. The phone further packs a 4,085mAh battery and supports OnePlus’s Warp Charge 30T tech – this is claimed to be 23 per cent faster than the 30W charging found in the OnePlus 7 Pro.

On to the cameras, the OnePlus 7T Pro comes with three rear cameras – a 48MP main, an 8MP telephoto for 3x zoom, and a 16MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, the OnePlus 7T Pro has a pop-up 16MP camera.

The OnePlus 7T Pro also has a limited McLaren Edition that comes with a tweaked design with papaya orange accents (the regular OnePlus 7T Pro comes in Haze Blue), 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage will sell for Rs 58,999 starting 12PM on November 5 from online and offline sales channels. The OnePlus 7T Pro Mclaren Edition will be available in limited quantity through pre-booking at Rs 5,000 starting October 11 from across OnePlus exclusive retail stores.

Interestingly, OnePlus is continuing to sell the OnePlus 7 Pro – it would be interesting to see if this continues for long or if this is just stock clearing. The OnePlus 7T Pro isn’t all that different from the OnePlus 7 Pro, and because the latter’s more affordable, it’s surely a viable option for many potential buyers.
