Oppo has launched two new phones in its F-series: the F29 Pro and the F29. Both phones have 5G, an IP69 rating for waterproofing capabilities, and standard mid-range specifications, such as AMOLED displays, a mix of Qualcomm and MediaTek processors, and fast-charging batteries. While the features of both F29 and F29 Pro appear good, they face stiff competition from other options in the market.
Several Oppo F29 and F29 Pro alternatives offer better specifications at lower prices. Before we get into the list of alternatives, let us get the specifications and prices of the F29 and F29 Pro out of our way first.
The F29 Pro boasts a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2100 nits, while the F29 has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED 120Hz display with up to 1200 nits of peak brightness. A MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy processor powers the F29 Pro, while Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset runs the F29. While both phones have a 50MP main sensor, the F29 Pro uses a 2MP secondary monochrome sensor and the F29 has an 8MP ultrawide sensor. The F29 Pro has a 6000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, while the F29 packs a 6500mAh battery featuring 45W fast charging.
The Oppo F29 Pro starts at ₹27,999, while the F29 is priced starting at ₹23,999.
Realme P3 Ultra: The Realme P3 Ultra is one of the freshly launched phones, offering a good mix of specifications, design, and features. Starting at ₹26,999, the P3 Ultra has a 6.38-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, uses a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultra chip, a combination of 50MP and 8MP cameras, a 16MP selfie camera, and a 6000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
iQOO Neo 10R: The iQOO Neo 10R has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a full-HD+ resolution. Powering it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It has 50MP+8MP dual cameras on the back and a 32MP front camera. The iQOO Neo 10R uses a 6400mAh battery with 80W fast charging, available at a price of ₹26,999.
Nothing Phone 3a: Launched recently, the Phone 3a comes with a 6.77-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, paired with at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It houses a 5000mAh battery with 50W fast charging. The Nothing Phone 3a is currently available for less than ₹23,750.
POCO X6 Pro: The POCO X6 Pro was launched in January, offering a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor, paired with at least 8GB of RAM. It has 64MP triple cameras on the back and a 16MP front camera. The X6 Pro uses a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. The POCO X6 Pro starts at ₹19,999.
