Step 1: First things first, you need to navigate to Settings. Click on the Start menu and click on the Gear icon to go to Settings.

Step 2: Once inside the System Settings, click on the Apps option. At the left-hand side of your screen, navigate to 'Default Apps.'

Step 3: Inside the Default Apps option, you will come across a variety of options to choose from. Click on the Web browser at the bottom.

Step 4: Now, you will notice the default web-browser app icon there. You need to click on the app icon. Choose your preferred web browser.

Step 5: Once done, you will notice that the default web browser application on your system has finally been changed.

How to set Chrome as your default web browser

In case you don't want to go through your system settings, you can easily change your default web browser inside the web browser application itself. Here is everything you need to know:

Step 1: Open Edge browser on your computer and click on the three-dot icon at the top right corner to open More Settings. Now, click on the Settings.

Step 2: At the top, click on the option 'Change my default.'
