How to sync Samsung Internet Android web browser with Google Chrome for Desktop

Samsung has its own web browser application for Android phones called Samsung Internet, which also happens to be the default web browser application. While some users may prefer Samsung Internet over Chrome, Google's web browser offers seamless synchronisation across devices. Samsung Internet isn't available desktop users.

Samsung Internet users can sync their Android browser's content with Chrome Desktop using a browser extension. We show you how you can sync your Samsung Internet with your Chrome for Desktop.

How to sync Samsung Internet bookmarks with Chrome Desktop

First things first, you have to add the official Samsung Internet browser extension to your Google Chrome on the desktop. Go to chrome.google.com/webstore and search for Samsung Internet using the search bar located at the top left corner. Once discovered, download and add Samsung Internet browser extension to your Chrome.

Step 1: Click on the Samsung Internet icon next to the URL bar on your Google Chrome desktop browser.

Step 2: Sign into your Samsung Account to view your Samsung Internet Android bookmarks.

Step 3: In order to sync bookmarks, click the refresh button at top of the extension.

What's more, Samsung Internet extension provides users with the periodic sync option to keep their bookmarks up-to-date.

How to sync Chrome bookmarks with Samsung Internet

Similarly, Google Chrome users can sync their existing bookmarks with Samsung Internet. Here's how:

Step 1: Click on the Samsung Internet Chrome Extension icon on Chrome and navigate to More > Import Chrome bookmarks.

Step 2: Go to Settings > Cloud and accounts > Samsung Cloud] > Turn on Samsung Internet in Data to Sync on your phone.

Step 3: You will soon be able to find your Chrome desktop bookmarks in the bookmark menu on Samsung Internet browser.
