List of shows, movies dropping on Netflix this month but Sacred Games Season 2 is missing

Sacred Games season 2 promo is already out and while fans are excited about it, we still don't know when is the next season of Netflix's original officially releasing in the country. Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Saif Ali Khan starrer Sacred Games is one of the most popular Netflix Original shows in India, appreciated by fans mainly for its captivating storyline and some breakthrough acting.

Sacred Games is based on Vikram Chandra’s book that goes by the same title. The story revolves around two pivotal characters, a gangster named Ganesh Gaitonde (played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui) and a police officer, Sartaj Singh (played by Saif Ali Khan). It is directed by the Anurag Kashyap-Vikramaditya Motwane duo. The success of the first season has left the fans desperately waiting for the next season to drop on Netflix but looks like fans will have to wait a little longer.

Recently, Netflix revealed the list of shows and movies that are coming to its platform this month. But in what could be disappointing news for fans, Sacred Games season 2 is still missing from the list. Here's the calendar of shows and movies dropping on Netflix this month:

• May 2: The fate of the Furious
• May 3: The Last Summer

• May 15: Hannah Montana: The Movie
• May 15: The Emperor's New Groove
• May 15: Sweet Home Alabama
• May 15: Bruce Almighty
• May 15: The Sixth Sense

As you can see, Sacred Games Season 2 is not part of the above list. However, the list seems to cover only half of the month, does that mean there is still a possibility of a May release for season 2 of Sacred Games. Only time will tell.
