‘Pakistan vs India’ among the top Google search queries in Pakistan this year

Search giant Google announced its annual report comprising of some of the most-trending search queries this year. This year’s Google’s ‘Year in Search’ report goes to mention 2018’s top trending search keywords across different countries as well as categories.

In Pakistan, ‘Pakistan vs India’ happens to be among the top 10 most-searched queries on Google this year. If we look at the timeline, this trend was largely attributed to the Asia Cup 2018 tournament held in Dubai. The number of users searching for ‘Pakistan vs India’ increased to a great extent whenever these two archrivals were playing against each other.

Cricket matches between India and Pakistan have always been thrilling and exciting, which is why we are not surprised to see more users in Pakistan wanting to keep a tab on the live score. While in India Asia Games 2018 was among the top searched query this year, search volume on ‘India vs Pakistan’ keyword doesn’t appear to be as huge.
