PUBG at 200 Million Downloads: Is there something new in store for players?

PUBG has now clrossed more than 200 million downloads. The PUBG Mobile variant has also apparently witnessed 30 million players on a daily basis.In these circumstances, would be there by anything new with respect to thanking PUBG players.

PUBG which is now apparently looking to receive the highly expected Vikendi snow map and a customized version for SOny PS4 owners, has now crossed the 200 million download mark; with the mobile version of the game - PUBG Mobile clocking in 100 million users in just 4 months. Now, these numbers are global statistics excluding China.

PUBG Mobile is also siad to have crossed the 30 million players mark (on a daily basis). Now, these statistics have come at a time when certain players expressed apprehensions about PUBG losing players and its charm. At this instant, it is worth noting that PUBG Mobile  has also received a nomination for the Bets Mobile Game at The Game Awards 2018 which is scheduled to be held on December 7 in Los Angeles, California. Hence, gamers could share their thoughts on who should be awarded the Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2018.

These relatively new statistics of PUBG cocking in 200 million downloads naturally leads players and loyalists of the game to anticipate some sort of a new update or enhancement incorporated to the game in the near future. This could serve as a potential thanksgiving, on the part of Tencent Games, for whom it should not hurt to release newer updates/features to practically enhance gameplay. This could be done by taking into consideration feedback from players on official forums.

Here, it is also notable that a new Night Mode could also be in the works and due for release during the time of seeding of the Vikendi Snow Map.
