PUBG Lite which takes the important experiences of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) to PCs including that to low-end computers could now get onto Steam in the near future. This means that the PUBG could get onto more computers very soon globally, including the likes of India.

Now, PUBG Lite which is currently in a beta state has already unlocked  in regions such as Myanmar, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Brunei, Thailand, Singapore, and other regions - taking the total countries to more than nine, is yet to be unlocked in India. It is without doubt that PUBG loyalists and a fairly wide community of players in India have eagerly been anticipating the arrival of PUBG Lite beta. With PUBG folks having announced their plans to get onto Steam, this means that the game would undoubtedly expand to more countries and players on the way.

PUBG Lite beta in more regions would also bring newer aspects

Apart from the Steam plans, the next notable aspect is the official introduction of as many as three newer weapons, to PUBG Lite. These are:

  • A 7.62 MM MK47 Mutant rifle: This weapon is teased as being ideal for mid-range combat situations. The gun offers single, double bullet burst modes.

  • A 7.62 MM SLR rifle: This is claimed (by PUBG devs) as offering a high fire rate.

  • A Beryl M762 Assault Rifle: Once official, players should be able to check out a comparatively higher fire rate when compared to the AKM assault rifle.

“Going forward, PUBG LITE will take on new challenges and make new attempts to live by our beliefs. Your feedback will provide important guidance for PUBG LITE in the long journey ahead, and we will always value and listen to your voice,” state PUBG Lite developers in an official blog post.

The above are not the only new weaponry, the Flare Gun is also said to be in the launch pipeline as far as newer weapons to PUBG Lite are concerned. Also, there would be 6X, 3X Scope attachments to rifles along with the Zoom In/Zoom Out functionality for better focussing (to kill) with the newer rifles (once these are officially added).

Newer aspects outside of guns

In addition to guns, there would be newer parachuting system, players should also be able to check out modifications to the Free Reward System and Item Balance improvements. Finally, the “No Cheat” policy of PUBG Lite would also be strengthened.

Your feedback is all that matters, now

In case you have managed to lay your hands on PUBG Lite beta (in the regions where it is active), do remember to give feedback so that the genuine incorporations indeed make it to the game when it is launched widely. This is applicable to the Indian scheme of things as well.

“We read every single feedback thoroughly and analyzed the issues raised. As a result, we were able to come up with some new content and features for PUBG LITE in the short time we had. Soon, we will be ready to introduce them to you,” add PUBG developers.
