PUBG Mobile India Series 2019 is under way wherein the top 2,000 teams will soon compete against each other in online playoffs. Registrations and in-game qualifier round have ended and now results are due. Teams will be selected based on their kills and ranking during the in-game qualifier matches.
In the event of a tiebreaker, teams will be selected based on the other stats and Squad changes are absolutely not allowed during or after the in-game qualifiers, though. The tournament sees a total prize pool of Rs 1 crore!
Online playoffs begin on February 10 and end on February 24. Top 20 teams will qualify for the grand finale. Now that online playoffs are emerging, we look at some ground rules. Here we go:
Online Playoffs will be spread across 3 rounds. In Round 1, top 2000 Squads are seeded into 100 groups with each group consisting of 20 squads. All these groups will play in Best Of 1, which is points based knockout match. Top 4 squads from each group will qualify for Round 2.
Round 2 will be played across top 400 squads from Round 1, and they will be seeded into 20 groups again with each group consisting of 20 squads. Much like Round 1, top 4 squads from each group will qualify for Round 3.
In the final round of online playoffs, top 80 squads from Round 2 will be seeded into 4 groups, each consisting 20 squads. Unlike Round 1 and Round 2, top 5 squads from each group will move on to the grand finale.
