PUBG Lite which is now in its beta form has been known to expand to regions outside of Thailand. Now this rollout has got an official release date. If you are a PUBG loyalist, then PUBG Lite beta would unlock in more regions from February 13.

PUBG Lite beta would be available, from February 13, in the countries of Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Philippines. Now, remember that PUBG had earlier stated that the rollout of PUBG Lite would depend on feedback from the initial region (Thailand); now, it seems that the feedback from the country’s PUBG players indeed turned out to be positive thereby potentially resulting in the game rolling out to the four newer regions from February 13 – which is not too far away from now.

Hence, if you are a PUBG player in the above regions, do check if the PUBG Lite beta is available in your region and share your thoughts/insights on the gameplay. For the uninitiated, PUBG Lite brings core PUBG experiences to even low-end computers and laptops. If you are an initial adapter of the popular battle-royale game focusing on the last-man standing aspect, do ensure that you have the below minimum system requirements in place:

  • Supported Windows operating systems (OSes) – Windows 7 64-bit, Windows 8, and Windows 10
  • Minimum graphics card - Intel HD Graphics 4000 card
  • Minimum RAM required on computers - 4GB
  • Processor – 2.4 GHz Intel Core i3 processor
  • Internal storage - 4GB; minimum.

Since February 13 is not too far away from now, it would not hurt to know that the playable maps once the game unlocks would be Erangel that involves you dealing with enemies within an unknown island in the Black Sea. You would be able to check out in-game modes viz Squad, Duo, and Solo in the third-person-perspective only.

In related PUBG updates, the mobile version of the game – PUBG Mobile is all set to get the zombies mode (full public version) very soon. Tipsters believe that it should now only be a matter of time before the most-expected update (0.11.0) seeds to the game.
