Red Dead Redemption 2 getting new content update, others, check out now

The Red Dead Redemption 2 action-adventure game is now getting important fixes, addressing plaguing issues. These are applicable to both consoles and PCs.

The Red Dead Redemption 2 action-adventure game is now getting important fixes, addressing plaguing issues. These new fixes are applicable to Xbox One, PC, and PS4 consoles across the world. USP of these new updates is that there is a new patch addressing the auto-detection issue functionality.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Update 1.14

Now, these patches can broadly be classified into 5 major categories. These are Graphics fixes, Stability fixes, UI fixes, and new content updates. As far as new content is concerned, this includes aspects, such as adding Red Ben Clempston to Red Dead Online. Then, the Weekly Collectible List now includes the likes of Blood Flower, Chocolate Daisy, Creek Plum together in the Herbalists Collection. Other newer items, here, include:

  • Kiliman Vest
  • Parson Boots (Male Only)
  • Rowland Boots (Female Only)
  • Purkiss Hat

  • Union Cap
  • Cibola Boots

With new content coming to the fore, it only becomes vital to check out the stability fixes. These include the likes of the below.

  • Enhanced mouse support for certain Store menus
  • Fixes to  issue that resulted in a black screen during the initial boot of the game rather than the loading bar
  • Fixes to issue that resulted in players being unable to equip emotes in Red Dead Online while using the mouse
  • Fixes to issue that resulted in the Map in the Pause Menu being cut off when changing the game resolution
  • Fixes to issue that resulted in player overhead displays to appear in the incorrect position on displays other than 16:9 aspect ratio in Red Dead Online
  • Fixed to issue that prevented some keyboard inputs from being remapped
  • Fixed to issue that resulted in some incorrect text and warning screens to appear when when remapping keyboard inputs
  • Fixes to issues that resulted in problems with scrolling in parts of the user interface
  • Fixes  to issue that resulted in some menus not displaying input controls, including Safe Zone and Brightness Calibration screens
  • Fixes to issues with keyboard text input when using some languages
  • Fixes to issues that resulted in the red selection highlight disappearing while browsing through menus
  • Fixes to issues that resulted in problems with mouse selection, or erratic cursor movement when browsing some menus
  • Fixes to issue with keyboard navigation of the Pause Map after selecting a blip/icon.
  • Fixes to  issue that resulted in players being unable to complete some actions while inspecting weapons
  • Fixes for issue that resulted in save game information to be missing from the Load Game menu
  • Fixes for issues with text input of non-Latin characters and added support for more input methods
  • Fixes to issues that resulted in the Pause Map moving position after placing a waypoint
  • Fixed an issue that resulted in difficulty aiming with a mouse, especially at low DPI settings
  • Fixes to issues that resulted in incorrectly sized, overlapping or misaligned user interface elements under different display resolutions
  • Fixed an issue that resulted in the loss of previous selections when navigating back and forth between menus
