Update 5.2 for PUBG now on test servers, with experimental enhancements

A new Update 5.2 for PUBG (for PCs) is now on test servers. This is expected to be ported to live servers very soon.

A new Update 5.2 for PUBG (for PCs) is now on test servers. This is expected to be ported to live servers very soon. Patch notes for this new update are already here, check these out.  

Update 5.2

Gauging the patch notes for the Update 5.2, it is imminent that there would be the new Spike Trap item that could be used to cause flat tires of enemy vehicles. These spike traps could be set up by selecting these and then pressing LMB. If a trap has been laid, then it would not be possible to recover it again by picking up.  

Features like the above are experimental, in the current Update 5.2 that is on test servers. You could check out the enhancements and communicate your findings to PUBG. Players have been expressing intent to check out the new update, imminently.  

 

 

 

 

 Then, there are other newer experimental enhancements (via the custom PUBG Labs) such as Skill-based Rating for players, improvements to Vikendi (in-game aspects such as towns), Way Point feature to make players' in-game routes better through strategic planning.
