UTS is the official app for Mumbai local train ticket booking. The app, developed by Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), UTS allows users to purchase both paper and paperless tickets for Mumbai suburban local train service. You can book journey, season and platform tickets. Once you have booked a paperless ticket, you need not travel with a printed ticket. Paperless tickets can be booked and accessed within the app itself. The app also lets users book tickets within the app and get a printout using ATVM machines at railway stations. UTS app is available to download for Android, iOS and Windows users.
In addition to journey and season tickets, UTS app also allows users to book platform tickets. You can also scan the QR code sticker available at all suburban station entry points. In case you have booked a paperless ticket and you no longer have access to internet connectivity, you can still access booked tickets without having to log in.
