Apple will announce their new iPhones, iWatch, and an updated iPad Pro at the Apple iPhone event, at the Steve Jobs Theatre, Cupertino in California.

12: 20 AM: Tim Cook ends the event saying "At Apple, we're always pushing our products forward."

12:16 AM:  The macOS Mojave available on September 24th.

12:14 AM: Introduces the HomePod. Both HomePod and tv OS 12 with Atmos updates are to come on Monday, September 17th.

12:11 AM: The iOS 12 comes out next week, September 17th.

12:09 AM: The XR is available in three finishes and three storage sizes and is priced at $749. It can be preordered on October 19th after which it  will be shipped on October 26th.

12:05 AM: iPhone XR is launched. It is made from 7000-series aerospace-grade aluminum and more durable glass. It is available in White, black, blue, coral and yellow.

12:00 AM: The use of traditional plastics is reduced and the speakers are now made with 35%  post-consumer recycled plastic. 

11:57 PM: Apple now runs on 100 percent renewable energy.

11:56 PM: Lisa Jackson, Apple's environmental VP onstage now.

11:53 PM: A new technology called DSDS: dual SIM dual standby is introduced. It is a single physical SIM and an eSIM in iPhone XS and XS Max.

11:50 PM: A new feature called Smart HDR is introduced. It has a diffractive beam splitter

11: 45 PM: The camera system of XS is introduced with 12mp wide cam and 12mp tele camera. It has a 7mp front cam f/2.2 with a faster sensor.

11:36 PM: The application recognizes the hoop and court and then watches one play.

11:35 PM: David Lee from Nex Team and Steve Nash to talk about the Core ML camera application. 

11:30 PM: The new elder scrolls game being demoed. It is a role-playing game about a senior citizen who has to thumb his way all the way down to an extremely long document on his iPhone XS.

11:27 PM: Todd Howard from Bethesda is onstage now to perform a demo of ARKit 2, that has enhanced surface and object detection and persistent experiences with multiple users. 

11:24 PM: The A12 can do 5 trillion operations per second, and also has a new image processor for the camera. 

11:21 PM: A12 Bionic chip introduced. It is the industry's first 7nm chip. The A12 GPU is 50% faster than A11.

11:17 PMThe iPhone XS has faster FaceID along with a faster secure Enclave.

11:14 PM: The phone has been tested in many different liquids, and has a 5.8-inch display. The phone has the biggest display ever on an iPhone with 458ppi, 2688 x 1242 and 3m pixels.

11:12 PM: Tim Cook introduces iPhone XS. The device is made of surgical-grade stainless steel with gold finish on front and back. 

11:10 PM: The watch OS 5 available on September 17th. Tim Cook starts speaking about the iPhone. 

11:06 PM: The Series 4 GPS will be available in 26 markets at launch while cellular will be available in 16 markets with 34 carriers.

11: 04 PM: Series 4 is optimized for Nike+. The reflective yarn in the sports loop has been enhanced for night time visibility.

11:02 PM: Jeff Williams is back after showcasing a video of the Apple Watch. He further speaks about the new finishes which include stainless and gold stainless.

10:59 PM: The battery life is the same 18-hour battery life that the customers enjoy, whereas the outdoor workout time has been increased to 6 hours.

10:57 PM: Jeff Williams is back on stage, and reveals that the company has received clearance from the FDA. and it is a first of its kind to have the heart rate alerts. 

10:55 PM:  Dr. Ivor Benjamin speaks about the specifications of the Apple Watch, and states that the product is  "inspired by the lifesaving potential of technology."

10: 54 PM: Jeff invites the president of the American Heart Association to stage, Dr. Ivor Benjamin.

10:50 PM: The back of the watch is made of black ceramic and sapphire crystal. Radio waves can pass through, increasing cell reception.

10:48 PM: Dynamic new watch faces are introduced that interact with the display

10: 46 PM:  The watch has more content in photos, maps, calendar. Richer complications. Along with that, a new watch face has been introduced. it can also add contacts to the watch face for one-tap access. 

10:44 PM:  Apple Watch Series 4 is introduced. "It all starts with a stunning new display. We pushed the screen right to the edges, and curved the corners to perfectly match the shape of the Watch," said Tim Cook. The screen is over 30 percent larger. 

10:42 PM: Williams introduces the new Apple Watch and showcases the video to the audience. "We're taking Apple Watch to the next level," says he. 

10:40 PM: Jeff Williams is now on stage and speaks about the Apple Watch.

10:38 PM: Cook further speaks about how iOS has changed the way one lives and from the way one learns to the way one works.

10: 35 PM: The Chief Executive Officer of Apple Inc, speaks about the Apple stores and states that the stores are now welcoming over 500 million visitors per year.

10: 32 PM: Tim Cook gives his introductory speech as says "These are also magical days because we get to share our latest innovations with you. Apple was founded to make the computer more personal... we've created several categories of technology that have had a profound impact on people's lives."

WHAT CAN BE EXPECTED OUT OF THE APPLE IPHONE EVENT? 

Apple is said to launch its latest products at an event that will be hosted by the company. The event will be held at the Steve Jobs Theatre, Cupertino in California. At the launch, the company is expected to announce their new iPhones. A newer version of the iWatch and an upgraded version if the iPad Pro is also expected. Although one can expect some major changes and specifications, reports suggest that the phones will include the gesture control and the Face ID unlocking feature. Many are also speculating that the popular 3D feature will not be a part of the phones that are to be launched at the event.  If reports are to be believed then teh tech giant is also set to update the mini mac, with a few specifications and will introduce a Face ID unlocking for the iPad. The company has sent out invites to many. The invite has a ring-type circle with a background that says "Gather round.". The invite has grasped everyone's attention as the world is waiting for the company to release the latest version of its products.
