Microsoft Surface Go is now up for grabs in India at Rs 38,559. Microsoft's entry-level hybrid 2-in-1 Surface device goes on sale exclusively via Flipkart. The device had initially gone up for pre-order on December 15. Microsoft Surface Go starts at Rs 38,559 for 4 gigs of RAM and 64 gigs of internal eMMc storage and it goes all the way up to Rs 50,999 for 8 gigs of RAM and 128 gigs of SSD storage.

As it has always been the case, Microsoft has been selling Surface accessories separately. The black keyboard type cover costs Rs 8,699. There's another, more premium signature-style variant, which is priced at Rs 11,799. Microsoft Surface Go is an entry-level device that is aimed at student and budget-conscious buyers, and although it starts at almost Rs 40,000 (including accessories), it is going to burn a significant hole in your pocket.

Specs-wise, Microsoft Surface Go measures 245 mm x 175 mm x 8.3 mm in dimensions. It sports a 10-inch PixelSense screen with 1,800 x 1,200 pixels resolution resulting in 217 PPI pixel density. The screen supports 10-point multitouch and it is further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Inside is either 4GB or 8GB of RAM. Powering Microsoft Surface Go is Intel Pentium Gold Processor 4415Y. It runs Windows 10 Pro operating system, which is configurable to S mode. It weighs in at 522 g and claims to offer up to 9-hour battery life local video playback.

As far as connectivity is concerned, Microsoft Surface Go supports 1 USB C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, 1 Surface Connect port, Surface Type Cover port and MicroSDXC card reader.
