The now-older iPhone 8 has also seemingly received a price cut, after the launch of the newer iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. This follows the reduction of price recently of the iPhone XR and iPhone XS (multiple models). Now, the iPhone 8 is priced at Rs 39900. This represents a near Rs 20000 price cut from its earlier pricing.

iPhone 8 pricing

Now, multiple offline retailers have already started carrying the newer Rs 39900 pricing. The smartphone was priced, not too long ago, at Rs 59900. This discount appears to be a direct after-effect of the launch of the latest iPhone 11 family. The iPhone 8 variant having received the substantial reduction is the 64GB internal storage edition. This also comes with 2GB RAM under-the-hood.

At this point in time, the iPhone 8 despite being a 2017-released model impresses especially for its 12MP rear camera which comes with dual-tone LED flash. The smartphone, after its latest price cut, provides for relatively increased affordability. With the iPhone 11 family of smartphones now having grabbed eyeballs, it would not be an exaggeration to state that the older iPhones could turn out to have relatively fewer takers despite the latest price cut. Nonetheless, on its part, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus offers key technical specifications such as the below.

  • 4.7-inch display having resolutions of 1334 x 750 pixels.

  • IOS 11 operating system out of the box – but can be upgraded to iOS 12.4

  • Apple A1 Bionic SoC (a USP of the smartphone)

  • 12 MP reear camera

  • 7 MP front snapper

  • 2GB RAM

  • 64GB, 256GB internal storage variants

  • LTE, HSPA, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, microUSB 2.0 connectivity options

  • 1821 mAh battery.
