Asus finally brings Zenfone Max Pro M2 in India; can you guess the price?

Starting with Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2, powering the handset is Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. It sports 6.26 inches 1080p screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It has three memory configurations: 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 64GB storage.

Asus has earned itself a fairly good brand presence in India’s mid-range smartphone space over the past few months. Asus finally launched its much-anticipated Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2. The successor to Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, Zenfone Max Pro M2 price in India starts at Rs 12,999 and goes all up to Rs 16,999.

As far as the launch offers are concerned, interested customers benefit from a bank discount as well as a complete mobile protection plan. Asus also unveiled the Zenfone Max M2 during the event. Asus Zenfone Max 2 is priced starting at Rs 9,999. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 will be up for grabs via Flipkart starting December 18.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 runs stock Android Oreo. It packs in a 5,000mAh battery. Camera-wise, there’s a 12MP + 5MP dual camera setup. Up front is a 13MP selfie camera. In terms of security, it has both a fingerprint reader and face-unlock.

Asus Zenfone Max M2, on the other hand, runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor. Similar to the Max Pro M2, this one too has multiple variants: 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. This one packs a 4,000mAh under the hood.

Asus reiterated that the Zenfone 5Z will receive Android Pie software update next month. Meanwhile, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 will get Android Pie software updated in February 2019.
